Meet the Creator
Hi, I’m Simone, the creator of Pelican Post Club.
I’ve always loved the stories, colours, characters, and everyday magic of the Caribbean and finding creative ways to share them.
That love first inspired me to create Colour Me Caribbean, a collection of books celebrating Caribbean life and culture. Pelican Post Club grew from that same passion, but with a new idea: what if children could discover a little more of the Caribbean every month, delivered right to their mailbox?
I wanted to create something that felt exciting to receive, encouraged curiosity and creativity, and helped children feel connected to the Caribbean, wherever in the world they may be.
And so, with a little help from a very curious pelican named Penn, Pelican Post Club was born.
